Quantum physics

When someone asks me how I am,
I tend to search for a way to explain
The entire universe in one sentence
Instead of replying.

This thing I’m making, life
Some days a wave, on others a cage.
Would it still be interesting if I knew exactly
What’s up and how it’s going?

Decipher what you will if it,
I’ve been spending my time
Making dinner, picking flowers, writing poems
About fruits and aliens and longing.
